Mode of Action:

Shriram 2,4-D 58% SL acts as an auxin-type herbicide, mimicking plant growth hormones, leading to uncontrolled cell division and plant death. It is absorbed through the leaves and roots and translocated within the plant.

Features and Benefits:

Forms of 2, 4-D penetrate foliage, whereas plant roots absorb the salt forms. 2, 4-D appears to be similar in action to other auxin-type herbicides. .It is absorbed by the leaves and roots and translocated in to the weed plants.
Shriram 2,4-D 58 % apart from effectively controlling broad leaf weeds, these also control the Cyperus sp.
Shriram 2,4-D 58 % has no adverse effect on crops with recommended dose
Shriram 2,4-D 58 % used on a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic broadleaf weeds. It has little effect on grasses

Method of Application:

Apply post-emergence when weeds are actively growing.
Use a knapsack sprayer or boom sprayer for uniform coverage.
Avoid drift to neighboring broadleaf crops.

Time of Application:

Apply at early weed growth stage for optimal results.
